Marialuisa Staub supports research into smaller consumer and industrial companies across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. She joined Corby SA in 2023 following an internship in investor relations, bringing a business-administration background and a strong interest in financial modelling. Her work combines analysis of company disclosures with an assessment of changing customer behaviour. Working alongside the portfolio managers, Marialuisa helps translate emerging research ideas into clearly structured investment cases and ongoing company monitoring.
Her analytical approach begins with the underlying drivers of revenue, margins and working capital. She is particularly interested in how shifts in demand become visible in company results and whether management’s explanations are supported by the figures. In preparing research, Marialuisa emphasises transparent assumptions and well-organised supporting material, making it easier for senior colleagues to review a model and challenge its conclusions.
